Flight and perched scenes of an immature #57, and an adult #82. These birds are a critically endangered species, and part of the reintroduced population to the Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge located nearby in Kern County, California. Besides being wing tagged with their identification number, they also have a radio transmitter attached to their ID tags for tracking their movements.
